Bad Girls: The Musical
"When i finished filming, the writers of Bad Girls tv series asked me if i would workshop their new musical based on the first three series of the award winning show...but Snowball (my character for series 4 and 5 on tv) wasn't featured, so I played original bad girl, Shell Dockley! We started in 2002,with new versions taking the form of workshops, an ITV2 documentary and performances nearly every year since-with a full scale production at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in 2006 for which I was thrilled to win a TMA for Best Supporting Performance in a Musical-culminating in the West End production in 2007 at the Garrick Theatre for which I was a nominee for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical at the 2007/8 Whats On Stage/Theatregoer's Choice Awards.Along the way I have worked with some amazing people-including luminaries such as Jenna Russell,Louise Plowright,Tracy Bennett,Hannah Waddingham,Debbie Kurup and Louise Gold. The show lives on in the original cast album and DVD..available HERE"

Perfect Pitch
"I have worked with Andy and Wendy Barnes of Perfect Pitch several times over the years-I love the opportunity to work on new material and they have a great track record of finding the next big thing in new British Musical Theatre writing.I welcomed the chance to perform last year at The Edinburgh festival (always been on my checklist) singing brand new material by the up and coming writers of the future; my fellow performers included Kerry Ellis,John Addison and Tim Driesen-who not only performed but also wrote some of the material we showcased.I would love to work at Edinburgh again sometime."

Over The Rainbow
"What a priviledge to portray the glorious performer that was Eva Cassidy.I got to sing 23 of her songs every night with a live band of actor/musicians...and tell the tragic story of a life cut short,as she died of cancer aged only 33. Eva is second only to Elvis in posthumous album sales and when you hear or get to perform her musical interpretations,it is not hard to understand why. I loved singing music that really touched people's hearts and we got standing ovations nearly every night as we toured the Uk and Ireland, playing some great venues.""

What's On Stage
"I was really pleased to be asked to perform at the WOS Year on Year Awards in 2007/8-not only was I a nominee that year for Bad Girls-the Musical, but I was also singing a duet with the fabulous Shona White written by a great friend of mine-multi award winning composer Christopher Hamilton. We performed "Women Like You" a duet from his new musical "Over The Threshold" that premiered at Edinburgh Festival last year.Once again it was as part of the Perfect Pitch new musical writing section."

Snow White
"Some places you always gravitate back to-I have enjoyed working in Eastbourne several times over the years, having toured there with Thankyou for the Music,Over The Rainbow,Perfect Pitch and then in residence for christmas with my role as Evil Queen Narcissa in Snow White. It was a lovely company, which included my "roomies" Niamh Perry and Shona White-and I always love the opportunity to spend time by the sea.The cast also included the charming Stefan Booth and hilarious double act Martyn knight and Carl Patrick."

Sleeping Beauty
" This was the first pantomime I headlined on leaving "Bad Girls" tv series-I loved being in Norwich for Christmas,it is a great city .I played Morgan Le Fey the evil sorceress-the pantomime was set in the magical world of Camelot, and I flew on and off by winged chariot,or disappeared in a puff of smoke down trapdoors! I was on billboards, the side of buses, the cover of all the local papers and even sang on BBC Radio on Christmas Eve.A happy time, and Rikki Jay and Brian Hibbard kept me entertained...."

West End Live
"I have to say that appearing in the extremely short lived musical "All Bob's Women" at the Arts theatre was definitely not a high point in my career! However,it gave me the opportunity to briefly experience superstardom when I performed two songs from the musical to an appreciative audience of thousands in Leicester Square, with a full band and big screens on either side of the square...it was thrilling."

Grab Me a Gondola
"After portraying Snowball Merriman, the glamorous 50's inspired murderess on ITV's Bad Girls for two years,it was a lovely opportunity for me to work with an old friend from drama school days-director/choreographer Stewart Nicholls-when he asked me to portray the leading role, glamorous actress Virginia Jones in his revival production of "Grab Me a Gondola" a comedy set in the 1950's and essentially a pastiche on the life of Diana Dors, another actress i admire...Mink bikini, anyone?!"

An Audience with the Mafia
"This was an unusual show-a two hander and essentially a history lesson in all things Mafioso! I enjoyed working with director Keith Strachan again and am very greatful to have met Albert Fox,my co-star and writer...what a character!! It was thanks to him that i got to play a dozen different characters from the last 100 years of American history-quite a challenge...and it was a definite highlight to have a larger than life billboard on Shaftesbury Avenue outside The Apollo Theatre of me portraying one of my idols, Marilyn Monroe...."

The Pros, The Cons and a Screw
"I was thrilled to be part of this groundbreaking production which relaunched the Derby Payhouse as part of Derby Live! a major regional producing house and venue.I worked with acclaimed director Steven Dexter, and award winning composer and MD Elliot Davis on this actor-musician show set in a male prison-for once,I was the right side of the bars!! My fellow actors included Kidulthood star Adam Deacon and my friend,ex Brookie and Hollyoaks hunk Leon Lopez."
